Carb Counting

Carbohydrate intake is the simplest to identify, you simply take the remainder of your calories and divide it by 4 to see how many grams you have left to play with. If you feel this does not meet your requirements for your activity level, lower the fat intake and raise the carbohydrate intake until you've adjusted to a number your comfortable with, remember to not go below 50 grams of fat at any period of dieting. Whether you get your calories from carbohydrate or fat makes zero difference in terms of body composition, assuming of course equal calorie intake and no deficiencies.
