Sustanon 250

Image
Sustanon 250 is a blend of four testosterone esters testosterone propionate, testosterone phenylpropionate, testosterone isocaproate and testosterone decanoate. These esters make Sustanon one of the longest-lasting steroid compounds available today. It is an ideal compound for putting on size and increasing muscle strength. Sustanon is also relatively mild on the estrogenic side effects such as gynocomastia and wat er-retention. Doses of 250 mgs to 1000 mgs per week are recommended to keep a balanced testosterone level, although Sustanon will stay active in the body for up to a whole month. At higher doses, estrogenic effects can be severe and anti-estrogens like Nolvadex or Proviron are recommended. Taking Sustanon will also reduce the bodyĆ¢€™s natural production of testosterone so a post-cycle therapy of HCG or Clomid is also desirable. Sustanon 250® is an oil-based injectable testosterone blend, developed by Organon. It typically contains four different testosterone este...

Testosterone Cypionate

Now with this being one of my favourite Test esters I thought I would do an early morning write up on it for you all. Testosterone Cypionate Traits Testosterone Cypionate is a synthetic version of the naturally produced testosterone hormone. This hormone is responsible for many different physical and mental characteristics in males. It promotes sex drive, fat loss, helps with gaining and maintaining lean muscle mass, increases bone density, and may even protect against heart disease. Whether it is naturally produced or through the use of Testosterone Cypionate, these traits do not change. All other steroids are actually the testosterone molecule that has been altered to change the properties of the hormone.  Testosterone Cypionate carries a rating of 100 when measuring its anabolic/androgenic structure and this rating is used to measure all other steroids. This would make testosterone the "father" of all anabolic steroids used by athletes...

Anabolic-Androgenic Steroids and Their Abuse & The Effects Thereof

Image
Anabolic-androgenic steroids (AAS) are synthetically produced variants of the naturally occurring male sex hormone testosterone. "Anabolic" refers to muscle-building, and "androgenic" refers to increased male sexual characteristics. "Steroids" refers to the class of drugs. These drugs can be legally prescribed to treat conditions resulting from steroid hormone deficiency, such as delayed puberty, as well as diseases that result in loss of lean muscle mass, such as cancer and AIDS. How Are AAS Abused? Some people, both athletes and nonathletes, abuse AAS in an attempt to enhance performance and/or improve physical appearance. AAS are taken orally or injected, typically in cycles rather than continuously. "Cycling" refers to a pattern of use in which steroids are taken for periods of weeks or months, after which use is stopped for a period of time and then restarted. In addition, users often combine several different types of steroids ...

Weight Increase Frustration

Random question I've received on increasing weight, simplified, I'm struggling to increase my weight on some isolation exercises and feel like I've plateaued?  Don't worry about it, especially with isolation exercises, think about the weight increase your actually attempting, so your stuck at 20 kg on curls, increasing the weight to say 25 kg is a weight increase of 25%, it's normal to struggle on occasion, sometimes for weeks on end as you gradually creep closer.

Cardio Question

Random question I've received on cardio, the questions simplified, do I prefer high or low intensity cardio? Are weighted walks good and how do you feel about the sprinter / marathon runner argument which is often repeated?  I prefer low intensity cardio because it burns a higher percentage of fat although you need to perform more of it compared to high intensity cardio. Low intensity cardio might burn 80% fat and 20% glucose/glycogen, high intensity cardio might burn 20% fat and 80% glucose/glycogen. It's important to remember that high intensity cardio burns more calories per unit of time so 1 hour of high intensity cardio will burn more fat than 1 hour of low intensity cardio. The benefit of high intensity cardio is less time is needed to burn the same amount of calories, the downside is that you burn a lot of glucose/glycogen which can interfere with your weight training unless you eat extra carbohydrate to help offset the extra glucose/gly...

Steroid Question

Random question I've received on steroids, the questions simplified, are steroids safe, how can you tell visually if somebody is using steroids, can you hide it and when is the earliest you can use it? Injectable steroids are very safe, the side effects are exaggerated, oral steroids can damage the liver if not used correctly in terms of dosages or length of duration, even then they are still exaggerated. The traps, neck and delts have a naturally high density of andogen receptors, they blow up the most when someone starts taking steroids. The calves have a very low androgen receptor density, this is why steroids don't help very much with calf growth. If you see someone with an usually thick neck, big traps and round delts you're most likely looking at a steroid user. A steroid using man vs a natural man is basically the same as a man vs a woman, the visual difference can be that dramatic. A sexual partner would definitely notice, it's impos...

Chest EMG Question

Random question I've received on bench pressing, the question simplified, what's the best grip  width and angle to use, should you do incline, flat and decline?  I've read just about every EMG study in existence, the data is very clear, a narrow grip helps target the clavicular head (upper pec). Also a low incline (15-20 degrees) is better than a moderate/high incline. I can also feel my upper pecs working harder when I bench this way. Decline bench is a waste of time and not superior toparallel dips. Infact a low incline with dips would be more then sufficient for most to fully train the pecs, those with lagging pecs could add more such as flat flies or crossovers, for those avoiding dips I would recommend low incline, flat bench and flies. If you needed to avoid the bench altogether, I'd recommend you try weighted push-ups, dips and incline flyes. Where the problem is with EMG's however, most are conducted without going to failure. Generally ...

Dynamic Effort

Random question I've received on DE training, the question simplified, are we going against the SAID principle with DE training, I've been told there's two ways to increase motor unit recruitment and if you want to increase force velocity you need to train at both ends of the curve.  My answer is basically DE work is a waste of time, not all will agree with this, but in my opinion, if you want to increase your maximal bench press you should train with maximal loads and attempt to lift the bar as fast as possible. The SAID principle is very simple, basically your practise should be as close as possible to the performance you're trying to improve. Lifting 50% loads as fast as possible is entirely different to lifting 90% or greater loads as fast as possible. Lifting 50% loads as fast as possible trains you to lift 50% loads faster. Lifting 90% loads as fast as possible trains you to lift 90% loads as fast as possible. Most people don't under...

Type 2 Diabetes

Random question I've received on t ype 2 diabetes , the question simplified, their father takes metformin and he has several health problems to boot, nothing seems to support him that well, any ideas?  My advice would be to start taking 600 mg of magnesium per day in amino acid chelated form (equivalent to 600 mg elemental magnesium). Get them exercising as much as possible, it helps to control blood sugar. Drastically cut back their carbohydrate intake, no more than 100 grams per day. Avoid high GI carbs entirely. Diabetes is 100% manageable without drugs if you perform plenty of exercise and reduce your carbohydrate intake. www.genesis-board.com www.genesis-ugl.com
