Type 2 Diabetes
Random question I've received on type 2 diabetes, the question simplified, their father takes
metformin and he has several health problems to boot, nothing seems to support him that well, any
ideas?
My advice would be to start taking 600 mg of magnesium per day in amino acid chelated
form (equivalent to 600 mg elemental magnesium). Get them exercising as much as possible, it
helps to control blood sugar. Drastically cut back their carbohydrate intake, no more than 100 grams
per day. Avoid high GI carbs entirely. Diabetes is 100% manageable without drugs if you perform
plenty of exercise and reduce your carbohydrate intake.
